Education has become truly global in the past few years, and many universities now offer English-taught undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Think out of the box and consider a non-English speaking country – it’s a great opportunity to learn another language while you study in English – and another great addition to your resume.
Finish your degree quicker!
Degree programs are sometimes shorter abroad, so it may be cheaper to study abroad than to study in your own country when you consider that you are paying for tuition and accommodation for less time. For example, in most of the UK, undergraduate degrees are generally three years and some masters’ degrees are one year – so you pay for one less year of accommodation and tuition, and you get to start earning a year sooner!

One of the coolest things about the ‘study abroad’ concept is the ‘abroad’ bit of course. It’s an opportunity to travel, see the world, make friends with people from other countries, and experience different cultures. If you decide to study anywhere in Europe, you’re a hop, skip and a jump away from other countries.
