Why Finland?
Finland is a small but unique country, with a population of more than 5 million, and there is not even a region with a large population. Finland ranks number one in terms of education and has a lot to offer, may it be life opportunities or nature. The excellence of Finnish higher education is unquestionable. Whether you want to do live and study or stay for good. Finnish universities provide you with the best and excellent academic platform.
What I love most about Finnish education and culture?
The Finnish government has increased investment in cutting-edge research and has allocated 1.6 billion Euros to encourage universities to apply for research projects in the fields of bio-economy, clean energy, and digitalization of primary and secondary schools which makes Finland on top of the higher education sector. There was a word on the Internet before, and it was scrolled on Weibo for several days, “Jingfen” that translates “I want to be a spiritually Finnish.” To be honest, I find it so relatable, Finland really is a very magical country filled with amusing Finnish habits. People in Finland values personal-space as a matter of course, and this is also one of their cultural customs.
I find it appealing and I learned a lot. It shows respect and you value time being alone and you can analyze things even more. Because of the Nordic and Europian influences, it makes it more alluring. Discovering Finland’s beauty and work culture was very unique and unforgettable experience.
Working in Finland
Finland is one of the best European country to visit and explore- listed on Lonely Planet. The cleanliness of the air here is at the forefront of the world, and the beauty of the scenery is so fascinating.
Being part of the core team and worked at Slush year 2016, and as the Head of the events, it helped me on my personal and professional growth and gave a glimpse of Finland that was very captivating. So why Finland? I say why not! Because Finland is definitely a fantastic country to explore.
