Are you an aspiring business student looking to gain entry to a university in Finland? Pathway to Finland (Business) is designed to help you prepare for undergraduate studies in the field of Business. After completing the pathway studies, you will be eligible to progress to your pre-selected Bachelor’s degree program and start your studies in Finland!

Our fall pathway leads to university studies starting in 2022 (January or August).

Objectives

We have designed this program to prepare you for undergraduate studies in Business. Our study courses focus on improving your English language ability, academic skills, and subject-specific knowledge. Upon completion of the program, you will have enhanced your understanding and skills in the following areas:

  • English language skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking
  • Mathematical skills needed for further business studies
  • Academic skills, including critical thinking, academic writing, and digital skills.
  • Study skills and techniques needed for academic success

You will receive support and feedback from your teachers throughout the program. Peer and self-assessment methods are used to encourage you to take greater responsibility for your learning.

Pathway studies can be completed over one semester (15 weeks).

  • Fall semester: 6.9.-17.12.2021
  • Spring semester: 21.2.–17.6.2021

Pathway courses are engaging and social! Our study courses are carefully designed based on a personalized learning approach. All study courses are delivered through our interactive online learning platform. Through the platform, you can access all study materials, work on assignments, and interact with your teachers and peers.

Online studying requires you to work independently, however, you will not be alone! During your online studies, you will be interacting with our experienced teachers and other students through online discussion sites and video calls.

Online learning

Our flexible online study option allows you to complete the pathway studies from the comfort of your home! All you need is a computer with an internet connection. Our experienced teachers and the latest learning technologies will ensure you a high-quality online learning experience.

Study Hub in Asia

Combine online studies and campus experience by studying at our Study Hub in Asia. Our partners offer excellent facilities on their campuses where you will study together with other students and receive support from our local assistant teachers!

Your study abroad journey begins here! Studying at our study hub in Europe, you will get to experience campus life and become part of a vibrant student community. This is also a great opportunity to familiarise yourself with the European culture.

Progression options

After passing all the pathway courses, you will be eligible to progress to the first year of studies at your pre-selected degree program.

HOW TO APPLY

We have made applying easy and simple for you! Students are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, which means that you can get your acceptance within 1-2 days if you meet the admission requirements.

  • Transcript of records (if possible)
  • Proof of English language
    • From IELTS 5.0, TOEFL IBT 35-45, Duolingo 75-80, or equivalent
  • Copy of passport ID page

*You must have graduated from high school or be in your final year of studies to be eligible for the program
