Online Finnish courses

What would be a better way to prepare for your study abroad journey than learning some basics of the language of your new home country? Join our online Finnish courses in 2022!

We offer two online courses in Finnish in Spring 2022:

  • Enter Finland (28.2.–17.4.2022)
  • Live Finland (18.4.–5.6.2022)

Our Finnish study courses are engaging and social! All study courses are delivered through our interactive digital learning platform, Claned. Through the platform, you can access all study materials, work on assignments, and interact with your teachers and peers. We also organize weekly live classes for all students. All classes are recorded so you can do them again or at a time more convenient to you.

Understanding the basics of the Finnish language helps you to learn about the Finnish culture and way of life. Our study courses offer a great chance for all international students to prepare for life in Finland!

Please note that the study places are distributed on a first-come first-served basis.

Introductory course for students with no prior Finnish knowledge. During the course, students will learn basic Finnish, used in everyday situations. The course will also introduce students to the Finnish culture and way of life. After completing the course, the student is expected to have reached the A1.1 level (CEFR).

Zoom classes on Wednesdays at 13.15-14.45 Finland time.

This course will help students further develop their basic Finnish language skills after completing the Enter Finland course. During the course, students will expand their vocabulary and learn to manage communication situations in Finnish, in both written and spoken form. After completing the course, the student is expected to have reached the A1.2 / A1.3 level (CEFR).
