Overview

The bachelor programme in Electrical Engineering allows development of specialist knowledge while maintaining a broader inter-disciplinary context.

Students learn how electricity is generated, transmitted and used. Studies also include how electrical systems are controlled and how energy markets work.

The programme focuses on energy efficiency and the production and use of clean energy. Topics include smart grids, wind and solar power, electrical machinery, automation and power electronics.

Emerging energy systems, energy efficient technology developers, smart grids, the electrified transport sector and energy markets operators will continue to employ graduate engineers in electrical engineering.
