Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Energy Technology allows development of specialist knowledge while maintaining a broader inter-disciplinary context.

At LUT University, students become familiar with energy production, transmission, distribution and use. Also, they get a comprehensive basic understanding of how energy will be produced sustainable. For example solar, wind, steam, and nuclear power will be studied.

Topics include how to convert natural energy resources, such as water, wind or biomass, into energy that can be used for human consumption in the most efficient way.

During the studies, students will assess how energy production affects the environment, economy, and surrounding society. Studies in energy technology can lead to a wide variety of careers in the growing global energy industry.
