Overview

The bachelor program in Environmental Technology allows development of specialist knowledge while maintaining a broader inter-disciplinary context. The core of the curriculum are climate change and circular economy issues.

At LUT University, students learn how to influence the way people produce and consume products. They will solve problems by creating new business models and sustainable operating systems.

Students learn how to use material resources more efficiently, with the purpose to create more environmentally friendly systems that take into account the full life cycle of a product.

Environmental Technology is based on multidisciplinary sustainability research, combining technology, economics, science, social sciences and legislation. Studies in Environmental Technology can lead to careers in industry, services, consulting firms, government and non-governmental agencies.
