Overview

Master of Sciences in Chemical Engineering for Energy Transition program will teach you how to develop and design those new processes.

You’ll learn the essentials of chemical engineering, including how to model different processes, separate materials, and use computer simulations to design new products and processes. These skills will prepare you to work in any part of the chemical or process industry.

You’ll also explore cutting-edge topics like creating hydrogen fuel, capturing carbon emissions, and making fuels and chemicals using renewable energy sources. You’ll learn how to make these processes efficient and affordable, so they can compete with traditional methods.

You’ll learn through a mix of lectures, hands-on exercises, assignments, and group projects. You’ll even tackle challenges faced by real companies working to transform the energy industry!

While the program is based at our Lappeenranta campus, some courses might be available online, giving you some flexibility in how you learn.
