A successful Biomedical Laboratory Scientist needs:

Some vaccinations may be required, but depending on the work placements, you may be required to take additional vaccinations (this can be done at your own cost in Finland).

Our Pathway to Finland program offers guaranteed access to Metropolia’s  programs upon successful completion the program, you can get accepted within 2 days to our Pathway program. The admission requirements are:

  • Copy of Bachelor’s degree or another appropriate higher education degree
  • Transcript of records (minimum 210 ECTS, Nursing, Health care, Midwdife…)
  • IELTS 6.0, TOEFL IBT 60-78, Pearson PTE 54, Duolingo 105-115, Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) 169 + English speaking countries if prior education in English
  • Copy of passport ID page
  • Relevant work experience (2 years, 24 months)

Notice, every pathway course must be passed + Entrepreneurship and working in Finland, Management and leadership and Research methods (Quantitative & Qualitative) courses must be passed with minimum grade of 3 (1-5 scale)
