Overview

The Health Care Diagnostics master’s degree in Metropolia University of Applied Sciences is targeted for bachelor level biomedical laboratory scientists and radiographers working or having worked in areas of laboratory services, diagnostic or therapeutic radiography. 

Studies comprise syncronous e-learning and/or on-site lectures and workshops, independent online learning, group work and independent studies. Mandatory contact studies are scheduled in good time before they start. Metropolia also offers a brand new Myllypuro campus facilities for common on site lectures and seminars. 

Metropolia University of Applied Sciences is one of the most international universities of applied sciences in Finland. Objectives

The program aims to educate both nationally and internationally oriented, innovative people with an advanced, practical professionalism for the modern commerce and industry. It gives you competences on developing the quality of modern diagnostic services, managing them and working in international contexts. The studies will provide you advanced level competences on

  • research and development activities
  • quality management of clinical laboratory/radiography services
  • managing artificial intelligence and robotics based services in healthcare diagnostics
  • clinical laboratory science/clinical radiography science

The Health Care Diagnostics degree programme gives you competences on developing quality of modern diagnostic services, managing them and working in international contexts. Diagnostic professionals like biomedical laboratory scientists and radiographers act in the interphase of patients and fast developing technology.
