You’ll learn through talks by experts, through workshops, projects, group work, and guidance from supervisors. Each month, there are about four days of in-person classes, some of which can be done online.
When you apply, you’ll share an initial idea for your project or thesis, which you’ll develop further once you start the program. Basically, our goal here is to form teams with people from different fields like culture, healthcare, and social services.
For the language used, most classes, materials, and workshops are in English. You can use Finnish as a support language, and some written work can also be done in Finnish.
Generally, the program focuses on creating a space for collaboration and connection. You’ll work closely with others throughout the program and need to actively participate in both online and in-person classes. The program is advanced and uses a learning approach based on real-world problems and situations.
