Construction engineers must have a view of the entire construction process in addition to their specialty. Work requires, in addition to professional knowledge management, problem-solving abilities, financial thinking, management skills, cooperation skills, IT skills and language skills. A lot of emphasis is put on all of those skills, during the degree program. Moreover, a degree completed in English provides construction engineers with good language skills and international know-how, making it possible to work anywhere in the world.

Degree program in Construction Engineering allows students to focus on structural engineering, particularly on steel construction engineering.
Steel Constructions studies include focuses on many aspects, like mechanics, mathematics, technical drawings and CAD. Understanding of the structures, and 3-D visualization skills will develop during the studies. A degree completed in English provides construction engineers with good language skills and international know-how, making it possible to work anywhere in the world.

The Structural Design and Steel Structures studies consist of following profiling modules:

Studies also include a work placement (30 cr) and bachelor thesis (15 cr).
