I like this university a lot! There are nice teachers, flexible schedules, lots of international students and a friendly staff. Rauma is a small town, but really beautiful!”

– Finnish student of Satakunta University of Applied Sciences

Many students study abroad to experience new cultures, to learn a new language or to create an international network that will be beneficial for their future careers. If you consider yourself one of those people, Satakunta University of Applied Sciences is the right place for you! Not only will you get to immerse yourself into Finnish culture and learn the language, but you will also get to know people from all over the world. Classrooms in SAMK have more foreign students than Finns!

Watch the video below and listen to what these two students from the International Business degree have to say about SAMK:

“The atmosphere that we have in our class is totally different from the atmosphere that my friends have in their universities, because we are one big group; we are sixty-something [students], but we are like one!”

– Jenni Lammi, student in Satakunta University of Applied Sciences

“Satakunta University of Applied Sciences has many partner universities for doing semesters abroad, and I personally went to Seoul, South Korea for my student exchange. Overall, the teaching in Rauma campus was excellent, but you have to be prepared to do a lot of group projects, which will be a big part of your final grade. When you’re starting your career, you will appreciate the experience from those projects though, as they teach you a lot about working with other people.”

– Sami, student at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences
