Bachelor’s degree in Logistics gives students the opportunity to study external and outbound logistics including transportation technology and distribution management as well as inbound and internal logistics related to sourcing, materials management and manufacturing. During the studies, you will gain proper understanding of logistics management.

The aim of this degree is to allow students to combine engineering skills and their understanding of logistics management. This is done by giving students the opportunity to approach engineering studies not only from a theoretical point of view but also an analytical perspective and practical work.
SAMK offers engineering studies via distance learning which gives you flexibility in your studies. You will study and communicate in a global network of students and teachers. The studies also include contact teaching days which will take place online. In addition, you need to be from one to two weeks in Finland once a year. In addition, you need to be present in Rauma, Finland for approximately a week every semester.
At the end of your studies, you are expected to deliver a bachelor’s thesis. In this thesis, you are to demonstrate your ability to apply your knowledge and skills in practical expert duties related to the professional studies.
Students graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering in Logistics have a wide variety of career paths available to them immediately upon graduation. Many graduates of the logistics program find employment in fields varying from logistics management to transportation technology.
