Valkeakosken Asunnot is a housing provider owned by the city of Valkeakoski.
There are two different types of apartments available:
- shared (two rooms).
The cheapest type of accommodation is shared apartment, where you have your own bedroom but you share the living room, kitchen and bathroom with another student. If you have a friend who is also looking for student housing, you can request him/her as your roommate when you fill out the housing application form.
Shared apartments are also easier to get as there are more of them available than studio apartments. Therefore, we strongly recommend you to apply for a shared apartment. Studio apartment is the most popular and expensive option, and you might need to wait for over a year to receive an offer to one.
Note! Two locations (Pajutie 1 and Lempääläntie 43) are designated specifically for students. However, you can still apply for other locations if you wish, but keep in mind the distance to the university.
To apply for Valkeakosken Asunnot student apartment
- Fill in the application form on the website of Valkeakosken Asunnot elong with your housing preferences
- Submit the application
- Wait for an offer letter from Valkeakosken Asunnot
Note! You need to have the certificate of your secured study place when you apply for student housing.
The application is valid only for three months after submission. If you don’t receive an offer during these three months, we recommend you to submit a new application!
